How do I create an account?
Open fieldnotes.plianta.com in your browser, tap "Sign Up", and enter your email and password. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Plianta Fieldnotes is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) with offline-first architecture. You can capture photos, add notes, and work with your sessions without an internet connection. Data syncs automatically when you're back online.
How do I install the app on my phone?
Open fieldnotes.plianta.com in your mobile browser. On iOS, tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen". On Android, tap the menu and select "Install App" or "Add to Home Screen".
Can I collaborate with my team?
Yes. Create a session and invite team members via invite link. All members can view and contribute photos within shared sessions.
How do I export my findings?
Open a session and tap "Report". This generates a PowerPoint presentation with all your photos, findings, and corrective actions — ready for management review.
What does AI photo analysis do?
The AI feature (Pro tier) analyzes your inspection photos and suggests findings, categories, and corrective actions based on EHS and regulatory standards. You must opt-in before any photo is sent for analysis.

Is my data secure?
Yes. We use Supabase with Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure you can only access data you're authorized to see. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in EU data centers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
